The RAS exam is the most prestigious exam in the state of Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts this exam in every one or two year. Educational Qualification for RAS Exam 2023
- The applicants should have graduation degree from a government recognized college or university or its equivalent.
- The students who are in the final year of the graduation can also apply but they should Enenroll in the final year before the last date of filling of RAS Application form and they must graduate before the RAS Mains Exam.
- There is no requirement of minimum percentage in the graduation exam.
Age Limit as Eligibility Criteria for RAS Exam 2023
- The minimum age for the RAS Exam is 21 Year for all categories.
- However, the maximum age limit is different for all the categories according to the Rajasthan government policies and norms. For the general category, the maximum age is 40 Years on first January of that year.
- The non gazetted officer must have completed 25 years of age but do not exceed 45 years on first January of that year.
- The government gives the Age relaxation in upper limit of age to various category.

No of Attempts as Eligibility Criteria for RAS Exam 2023
- As per Eligibility Criteria for RAS Exam 2023, there is no limit in respect of No of Attempts in RAS Exams provided the candidate is within the Age limit.
Other Eligibility Criteria :
Besides above, there are other Eligibility Criteria for RAS Exam 2023. Some of which are detailed as under :
- Candidate should be a Citizen of India. Non-citizens or NRIs are not eligible for appearing in this exam.
- Candidate from other states can give this Exam. But any candidate from SC/SC/OBC or any reserved category form other state would be considered as the General Candidate.
- The Age Relaxation is Non Cumulative in nature means a candidate can take advantage of age relaxation in only one category. He cann’t combine two category like SC/ST & PWD both.
- If the exam notification is not released previous years, the Govt may give the relaxation in maximum age limit.
